Back-to-school time in Polk County is a good time to focus on family health

Getting your children and teens ready to go back to school is the perfect time to make sure they are up-to-date with their immunizations. Vaccination protects students from disease and keeps them and those around them healthy.

Parents and guardians of Polk County children and teens also can now walk in for immunizations from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday or can make an appointment by calling (828) 894-2222.
