Spaces available in Polk County Sheriff’s Office’s Women’s Self-Defense Class starting March 23

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office’s Women’s Self Defense Class series starting Saturday, March 23 still has spaces available.

The series of four classes is $25 per person. Classes will be from 2 to 3 p.m. on four Saturdays –  March 23 and 30 and April 6 and 13.

Bryan Baldwin and Jesse Smith are the instructors. Baldwin owns CTABJJ (Cross Training Academy Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) and is a first-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with more than 20 years of experience. Smith is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, former School Resource Officer and Detective with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

Due to space, the class will be limited to 24 participants.
