One-stop early voting in Polk County will take place on weekdays and Saturdays from Thursday, Oct. 15 through Saturday, Oct. 31 at the Womack Building at 40 Courthouse St. in Columbus.
During early voting only, voters may register and vote on the same day.
The hours for one-stop early voting in Polk County from Oct. 15 through Oct. 31 are as follows:
- Weekdays from 8 a.m to 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 17 and Saturday, Oct. 24 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 31 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
On Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3, registered voters may vote at their assigned polling place in Polk County from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.
To help ensure the safety of voters, the Polk County Board of Elections is following all protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19 during one-stop early voting and on Election Day.
Also, federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funds have been used to install anti-viral technology in the Womack Building’s HVAC system.
Election Day precincts are noted on voter registration cards. You also can find your Election Day polling place by entering your information into the online Voter Search tool and by searching using your address with the online Polling Place Search.
