Polk County Public Libraries is holding a Clothing Swap the evening of Thursday, Feb. 28 at the Columbus Library.
At the swap, people will be able to trade their gently used children’s, men’s and women’s clothing and accessories for something new to them.
Participants must drop off items before the swap. They may bring up to 10 items per person in exchange for tickets to use at the swap.
PCPL is collecting donations for the swap in the children’s area of the Columbus Library. Participants may drop off items from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 26 and Wednesday, Feb. 27, and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thurs., February 28.
The swap is 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 28 in the Community Room at the Columbus Library. Participants will be able to trade their tickets for items on a first-come, first-served basis. PCPL will donate to charity all items left over after the swap.
