Tuesday, May 29 morning update: Forecast calls for 2-6 inches of rain in 24 hours

The National Weather Service on Tuesday, May 29 indicated there will be approximately two to six inches of rain over the next 24 hours in the area.

Flash flood watches are still in effect and conditions could be extremely dangerous. There is a marginal risk for strong storms with wind gusts, etc.

Voluntary evacuations are still recommended until the end of the rain event. There could be limited access from public safety responders to already identified voluntary evacuation areas.
