Four iconic actresses and one of football’s greatest quarterbacks star in “80 For Brady,” which is the next matinee showing in the First Friday Film series.
Polk County Libraries is showing a Friday matinee on the first Friday of each month. “80 For Brady” will show at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 5.
The library will provide popcorn, but feel free to bring your own drink and snacks.
Here’s the film synopsis, according to IMDB:
“The movie is inspired by the true story of four best friends and New England Patriots fans who take a life-changing trip to Super Bowl LI to see their hero Tom Brady play, and the chaos that ensues as they navigate the wilds of the biggest sporting event in the country.”
The movie stars Lily Tomlin, Rita Moreno, Jane Fonda, and Carrie Fisher, along with, of course, Tom Brady.
