The Polk County Cooperative Extension is offering a class on dill pickle canning.

Attendees will learn how to prepare and process water bath canned dill pickles.

The class will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 18 at the Cooperative Extension office (79 Carmel Lane in Columbus).

Each participant will receive a recipe printout describing how to repeat the process at home.
