Rutherford and Polk County Transit recently announced that it has launched the College Commute Initiative, providing free rides to Isothermal Community College campuses in Spindale and Columbus.

Whether you’re heading to class, clinicals, or job training, the transportation departments are here to help you succeed!

The College Commute Initiative provides:

— Free transportation: Available for students through June 30, 2028.

— Career support: Graduates who secure new jobs may receive a 60-day free transit pass to help them get to work.
