Early voting for the upcoming primary will soon begin in Polk County and this year the voting will be at a new location.
Residents, who have a proper photo ID (see this post for more information) will be able to complete the early voting process between Thursday, February 15, and Saturday, March 2.
Times for voting will be:
Weekdays: 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Saturdays: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Voting will take place at the new Board of Elections office, which is located at 231 Ward Street in Columbus, instead of at the Womack Building. For more information on the new Board of Elections building, click here.
