BMX Elite Pro, author, business owner, and speaker Tony Hoffman will be a part of the Breaking The Stigma event at Polk County High School on April 28.
The event, which is sponsored by Polk County’s Health and Human Services Agency, is an opportunity to learn about the challenges individuals face with mental health and substance misuse, and the resources available to support them. The goal is to bring awareness to the impact of mental health and substance misuse, and to provide education and resources to individuals and families who are affected by these issues.
There will be several giveaways, including a YETI cooler and 50-inch TV, and free food will also be provided to attendees.
