Polk County Libraries are celebrating Earth Day this spring by participating in the 14th annual Neighborhood Forest Free Tree Program, whose aim is to provide free trees to kids!

All parents need to do is complete the online registration (click here) by Friday, March 10, and your child will receive a free tree during Earth Week, which is April 22-30. The trees will be 6-12 inches in size.

Participants will be contacted prior to Earth Week with tree pick-up details.

Planting instructions and species information will be emailed a few days prior to the trees arriving.
