The April Friends of Ag Breakfast is set for 7 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17, at the Green Creek Community Center.
The guest speaker will be Dawn Jordan, who is the Ag Economic Development Director. She will showcase how the office encourages, supports, partners, and maintains agriculture enterprises in Polk County.
This event is free and open to the public. Local farmers, growers, and other food producers provide fresh ingredients for a delicious complimentary country breakfast.
To be sustainable, please bring your coffee mug and plate. This month’s FOA breakfast sponsor is AgSouth Farm Credit.
This historic breakfast has been held for the past 12 years featuring speakers from many local farms and other agricultural experts in their field. It is the place to meet your neighbors and connect with community support agencies that are here to help us all maintain our beautiful, rural agricultural county.
This event is held at the Green Creek Community Center, 25 Shields Drive, Tryon, NC. Friends of Agriculture Breakfast is held on the third Wednesday of every month November through May.
