Friends of Ag Breakfast set for March 20

The March Friends of Ag Breakfast is set for 7 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20, at the Green Creek Community Center.

The guest speaker will be Olivia Gray, MountainTrue’s newest AmeriCorp member, who will share some of the initiatives of MountainTrue and how they help to mitigate negative environmental impacts in our area.

This event is free and open to the public. Local farmers, growers, and other food producers provide fresh ingredients for a delicious complimentary country breakfast.

To be sustainable, please bring your coffee mug and plate. This month’s FOA breakfast sponsor is MountainTrue.

This historic breakfast has been held for the past 12 years featuring speakers from many local farms and other agricultural experts in their field. It is the place to meet your neighbors and connect with community support agencies that are here to help us all maintain our beautiful, rural agricultural county.

This event is held at the Green Creek Community Center, 25 Shields Drive, Tryon, NC. Friends of Agriculture Breakfast is held on the third Wednesday of every month November through May.
