It’s almost time for Gibson Pool to open in Polk County.

The pool, located at 236 Park Street in Columbus, plans to open the first week of June.

Here are some important notes about the pool:

Lap Swim – 7 – 9 a.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 – 10 a.m. on Fridays

Open/Family Swim
Monday and Wednesday: 2 – 5 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday: 10:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Friday: 2 – 6 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday: 1 – 5 p.m.

Also, pool rental is available on Saturday and Sundays from 5 to 7 p.m. for $180, which includes lifeguards. Contact abrazell@spartanburgymcs.org to reserve, as spots fill up fast!
