If you’re interested in hiking on a Sunday afternoon, then there’s an upcoming event for you. Polk Trails has announced a 2-4 p.m. walk on Sunday, June 18, at Little White Oak Mountain.

The moderate walk on the beautiful 300-acre parcel, which is adjacent to Polk Middle School, will begin at 2 p.m. and hikers are instructed to meet at the parking lot of the Saluda Library at that time.

A member of Saluda Community Land Trust will, as the Polk Trails site says, “keep you aware of the terrain of the trail and share their insights about the history, flora, and fauna of the area as they lead each walk.”
