Everyone is invited to drop by and say farewell to the Polk County elected officials leaving office and to meet and greet the newly elected officials at a “Hail & Farewell” gathering Monday, Dec. 3.

The “Hail & Farewell” event will be from 6 to 6:45 p.m. in the Emergency Management Office on the first floor of the Womack Building at 40 Courthouse St. in Columbus.

The regular Polk County Board of Commissioners meeting will follow at 7 p.m.
