Isothermal Community College will host a Hometown Heroes Hiring Event for potential first responders and emergency services personnel.

The event will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, August 11 in Room 212 of the Walter Dalton Engineering Technology and Workforce Development Building on the college’s campus. Isothermal Community College is located at 286 ICC Loop Road in Spindale.

Polk County is one of several counties who will be a part of this hiring event. Representatives from different departments will be on hand to talk with potential employees. Isothermal Community College will also be there to talk about training programs available through the college.
