Polk County Operation Budget $54,461,072

• Revenue-Neutral Rate .4077
• FY 25-26 Tax Rate .4277
• Current tax rate for FY 24-25 .5343

Budget Capital Expenditures (Exceeding $5,000) include:

• Sheriff’s Office – New patrol vehicles and an Inmate transportation vehicle
• Dept of Health and Human Services – New transportation vehicles and an oven for the meeting place.
• Information Technology Department – New workstations due to expiring support from Windows10.
• EMS – New cardiac monitors, Stryker stretchers and MDT’s.

County will contribute for partial payment for a new North Carolina Forest Service Truck.
