Isothermal Regional Commission offering help to businesses affected by COVID-19

On behalf of the Isothermal Regional Commission and the Region C Workforce Development Board, we want to make you all aware of the services that we can provide to businesses that are looking for COVID-19 related disaster assistance and are dealing with COVID-19 related layoffs.

If your business is looking to apply for a COVID-19 disaster assistance loan program through SBA, Golden LEAF or another organization, we are here to assist you. We can help you complete and file your application or assist you with any questions you may have during the application process. Please reach out to Steve Lockett (slockett@regionc.org), Sarah Kopkin (skopkin@regionc.org) or Nick Byrd (nbyrd@regionc.org).

If your business is having to lay off employees or even shut down, we have resources that can assist you. Please reach out to myself (sdadson@regionc.org) or Patty Thompson (pthompson@regionc.org).

If your business is looking to hire people during this time, we can help you promote the job openings and help you screen candidates. Please reach out to Sarah Crank (scrank@regionc.org) or Annette Staley (astaley@regionc.org).

We are utilizing our website (https://regionc.org/covid19resources/) to share resources available for businesses and individuals and we are updating this information daily. We are also sharing community updates and resources on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/NCRegionC). If you have anything you would like us to share or promote, please let me know.

We are faced with a difficult and ever-changing situation, but please know that we are here to help you.
