A wide variety of items are being collected for the annual Christmas Cheer on Wheels event, which is put on by Polk County Senior Services.

Residents have until December 15 to donate items, such as soaps, washcloths, toothbrushes, and more.

The flier below gives dates on when items will be collected, but there is a need for items whose dates have already passed.

These items will be made into boxes for those in need. There’s also a list of items if you want to make your own box to donate.

Items can be dropped off at the County Manager’s office in the Womack Building as well as locations mentioned on the flier.
