A local lake will soon host a celebration.

The Lake Adger Community Celebration is set for noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 13. The event will happen at the lake’s boat ramp.

There will be guided kayak tours, shore exploration, live music, kids’ activities, and more.

There will also be presenters at this free family-friendly event, including Foothills Humane Society, Trout Unlimited, Green Blades Garden Club, Polk County Libraries, Muskie Club, and more.
