Libraries have tax forms and instruction packets if you need them

If you need tax forms, Polk County Libraries can help.

The Columbus Library and Saluda Library has a limited number of tax forms and instruction packets for federal 1040 and 1040-SR.

Libraries at each location help citizens by printing the state and federal forms on-demand and don’t charge our usual rate of $.20 per page. Citizens simply need to tell libraries the forms they need and forms will be printed from IRS or NCDOR sites.

There is, though, a charge to print instruction packets, as those are between 80-100 pages.

The Columbus Library is located at 1289 W. Mills Street in Columbus and is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

The Saluda Library is located at 44 W. Main Street in Saluda and is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
