On Saturday, October 15, several local farms will be a part of the NC Foothills Farm Tour.

The event is open to everyone and will feature four locations throughout Polk and Rutherford counties.
The October farm tour is an intensive educational session where visitors will meet and learn from local food growers. Tours will include walk-throughs, Q&A sessions, and the opportunity to see the inner workings of local food growing operations.

Farms on the tour include the Polk County High School farm and Parker-Binns Winery in Polk County, along with Cherry Mountain Farm and Belflower Farm in Rutherford County.
