Native pollinators talk set for Saluda Library

This month’s edition of the Saluda Library Speaker Series will focus on native pollinators and the habits they require.

Brannen Basham and Jill Jacobs, owners of Spriggly’s Beescaping, will explore the beneficial creatures in your backyard through an exploration of the habitats needed to help pollinators survive and thrive.

This talk, which is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 13, at the Saluda Library, will take a deep dive into the life cycles of native bees, butterflies, moths, beetles, wasps, birds, and more.

Participants will learn how to care for your space throughout the year to support the widest diversity of creatures.

The Saluda Library Speaker Series is made possible thanks to our partnership with Conserving Carolina, and a generous Free Community Events grant from Polk County Community Foundation.
