An upcoming community event quickly filled, but there are plans for a livestream of the event.

The Gardening For Life Celebration, which is scheduled for March 4, will celebrate nature in the Carolina Foothills and beyond. During this event, you can learn how each of us can make a difference to improve, protect, and preserve healthy habitats and how it all begins right in our own yards.

The event consists of a presentation by Doug Tallamy, who is the T. A. Baker Professor of Agriculture in the Department of Entomology and Wildlife Ecology at the University of Delaware. The plan is to live stream his presentation and more info about that can be found here.

The event, which will take place at Polk County High School, will include educational exhibitors, including Conserving Carolina, Weiler Woods for Wildlife, Creation Care Team, and several others.
