Polk County Emergency Medical Services workers have been assisting with drive-thru COVID-19 testing.

With testing supplies becoming more readily available, asymptomatic individuals who may be spreading the virus can now be tested for the coronavirus, too.

Expanded testing for people with and without symptoms of COVID-19 is being offered by Polk County Division of Public Health while supplies last, by appointment only. To set up a testing appointment, please call (828) 722-5086.
