The deadline to register for the Polk County Health and Wellness Coalition’s annual Wellness Challenge is Wednesday, Sept. 30.

The nonprofit Coalition is sponsoring its annual Wellness Challenge starting Oct. 1 and ending Nov. 26. As part of a 4-person team, participants are “challenged” every day to exercise at least 10 minutes.

Groups such as businesses, churches, agencies and families can have as many 4-members teams as they like. To be accountable, participants will log their daily times online. At the end of week, each team captain will tally the times online. There’s no cost to sign up. In addition to bragging rights, participants may win prizes.
