Polk County Libraries’ Summer Learning Program in process

Summer reading competitions aren’t just for kids anymore.

Polk County Libraries recently kicked off its Summer Learning Program and it isn’t only aimed at youngsters out on break.

This learning incentive program began on June 13 and runs through August 7.

The kids and teen learning goal program is titled “Oceans of Possibilities” and it gives kids and teens learning goals to reach. If kids reach these benchmarks, they will be entered into weekly drawings and a grand prize drawing.

The adult program also includes challenges throughout the summer that must be met to earn entries into the grand prize drawing.
