All Polk County Local Government offices except emergency services will be closed Christmas Eve (Thursday, Dec. 24); Christmas Day (Friday, Dec. 25); and New Year’s Day (Friday, Jan. 1).

The landfill will be open Christmas Eve and Saturday, Jan. 2. It will be closed Dec. 25 and 26 and Jan. 1.

Emergency services will continue to be open as usual every day.
