Polk County Needs Your Help Reporting Damage from Hurricane Helene

Polk County is gathering information to assess damage to privately-owned property, specifically access bridges, culverts, and roads, caused by Hurricane Helene.

To do this, the county is asking that affected citizens fill out a quick online form.

This form is similar to previous forms, but focuses on damage to private-access infrastructure.

If you have damage to a private road, culvert, or bridge, please take a moment to complete the form.

Include any repair cost estimates, and attach photos of the damage, if possible.

The information collected will be shared with the State of North Carolina and FEMA as they assess the need for assistance for repairs to private bridges and roads. Please note that completing this survey does not guarantee repairs or financial assistance.
