As preparations are being made for this holiday season, here’s a quick note about office closings for Polk County.

All government offices will be closed on Monday, December 25, and Tuesday, December 26, in observance of Christmas. County offices will be closed on Monday, January 1, 2024, in observance of New Year’s Day.

The county landfill will be closed on Monday, December 25, and Monday, January 1, but will be open on its other regularly scheduled days.
