Polk County Public Health offering free drive-thru COVID-19 tests on several dates in December

Polk County Public Health is offering free drive-thru COVID-19 testing in Columbus with no appointment needed on several dates in December.

Testing is available:

  • Wednesday, Dec. 2 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 40 Ward Street
  • Tuesday, Dec. 8 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 40 Ward Street
  • Thursday Dec. 17 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 40 Ward Street
  • Monday, Dec. 28 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Polk County High School at 1681 NC 108.

For symptomatic patients, the COVID-19 test kits test for COVID-19, Influenza A and Influenza B.
