An 18-question housing survey has recently been published by the Foothills Regional Commission and will be available for the next few weeks for Polk County residents to complete. The survey will give the commission input on area housing concerns.

This survey will inform priorities for the Foothills NC HOME Consolidated Housing Plan — a document that will serve as a roadmap for Cleveland, McDowell, Polk, and Rutherford counties and grant the region access to federal housing funds through HUD.
