The public hearing for Polk County’s 2023-2024 budget is set for 5 p.m. on Monday, June 5. The meeting will take place on the second floor of the Womack Building.
This meeting gives the public an opportunity to give their input on the proposed budget for the upcoming fiscal year, and the hearing allows the county’s governing body a chance to consider the public input before finalizing the budget and the opportunity to make any necessary adjustments based on the feedback received.
A link to the County Manager’s recommended budget is on the home page of the county’s website, polknc.gov.
The budget will be on the Board of Commissioners’ agenda for approval at 5 p.m. on Monday, June 19.
