Public workshops sharing results of Isothermal Regional Comprehensive Transportation Plan being held March 8 in Saluda, March 9 in Tryon

Polk County Local Government, the City of Saluda, the Town of Tryon, the North Carolina Department of Transportation and the Isothermal Rural Planning Organization (RPO) are hosting public workshops sharing the results of the Isothermal Regional Comprehensive Transportation Plan.

The public workshop in Saluda will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, March 8 at the Saluda Library at 44 W. Main St.

The public workshop in Tryon will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9 at the Tryon Depot at 22 Depot St.

Each workshop will begin with a 15-minute video presentation at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. Afterwards, there will be opportunities for participants to ask questions and provide written comments.

The public also may attend these workshops virtually by Zoom. The link will be made available at www.isothermalrpo.org the day of each workshop (March 8 for the one in Saluda and March 9 for the one in Tryon).

The Isothermal Regional Comprehensive Transportation Plan will help guide transportation investments in Polk County and the Isothermal Region for the next 25 years.
