A section of Highway 9 will be closed to through traffic from Tuesday, March 25 to Thursday, March 27, according to the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
This closure, which will take place between Lake Adger’s subdivision entrance at Garrett Road and Construction Lane, is to permanently repair the cross pipe that was temporarily fixed after Hurricane Helene.
Local residents in the affected area will still have access, while detours will be set up for all other traffic. Emergency vehicles will also still have access if they are needed in the area.
