Polk County Sheriff Tim Wright recently announced that the Polk County Sheriff’s Office will host a Kid’z N Cops Summer Camp in June.

The day camp will include D.A.R.E. academics along with a wide variety of fun activities, like inflatables and a waterslide, fishing, and a pool party.

The camp is open to kids ages 9 to 18. There will be a cutoff of 40 participants.

Applications can be obtained from the County Managers Office, which is located in the Womack Building (40 Courthouse St in Columbus).

The deadline to apply is June 2.
