Fans of Lake Adger have a chance to give back to the pristine waters.

The Western North Carolina Muskie Club has planned a Spring Shoreline Cleanup in an effort to keep the lake’s waters and shore clean from trash, debris, and the occasional lost flip flop.

The cleanup will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 23. In case of rain, this event may be rescheduled for the following weekend.

Then plan on bringing out your kayaks in order to move around the lake to find those left behind flip flops!
