Polk County residents are being asked to complete a quick, 13-question survey to garner input about possibly building a YMCA facility in the county.

The YMCA currently serves Polk County through youth programming activities, from sports to swim lessons to day camps.

A committee of volunteers has begun the process of researching the possibility of building a YMCA facility in the county.

The survey, which will only take several minutes to complete, will assist the committee in determining the interest level the community has in building a YMCA, the size of the facility, location, and types of programs to offer.

The survey should be available until the middle of March so as many Polk County residents as possible can give their input.
