Trail maintenance at Alexander’s Ford set for March 17

There’s another planned Trail Workday on Friday, March 17 at Alexander’s Ford.

Volunteers are asked to meet at the trailhead at 1 p.m. to help Polk County Parks, Recreation and Maintenance with trail maintenance.

The department will have tools to share, but if you have a favorite shovel or set of pruners, feel free to bring them to the event. Also bring water, a snack and gloves.

The trailhead for Bradley Nature Preserve at Alexanders’ Ford is located on Grays Chapel Church Road.

If you have question about the workday, please reach out to Laura Baird at lbaird@polknc.org.
