Training to reduce suicidal behaviors set for Aug. 25

Polk County residents are invited to join us for the QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Suicide Training session from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 25, at WithAll Congregation (76 N. Peak St., Columbus).

This important event is hosted by Polk County Health and Human Services in partnership with VayaHealth.

QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) is designed to be accessible for everyone – peers, neighbors, and community members. Participants will learn practical tools to recognize warning signs of suicide and respond in supportive, life-saving ways.

Thank you for helping us build a stronger, more connected Polk County community.
