Veterans offered morning of equine therapy activities

Veterans are invited to take part in Project At Ease, a day of camaraderie and equine-assisted activities, that will allow them to experience an alternative approach to improve mental and physical well-being.

The event, which will take place from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 23 at the Bright’s Creek Equestrian Center in Mill Spring, is a 2.5-hour program for up to 12 veterans. Through the equine-assisted wellness program, Veterans can experience for themselves what a difference a horse can make in how they feel.

No equine experience is needed but reservations are required in advance. The event will be held rain or shine.

To RSVP, email info@guidingreins.org or call 864-457-3575. Check out the Guiding Reins website here.
