Volunteers needed for a variety of board and council positions

There are many excellent opportunities for Polk County residents to give back to the community.

Almost 40 volunteer board positions, across 30 boards, are available and more are expected in the coming months.

Here are a couple of positions that are needed:

  • Isothermal Community College Board of Trustees
  • Juvenile Crime Prevention Council
  • Library Board of Trustees
  • Recycling Board Advisory

As you can see from this small sampling, there’s something for everyone who wants to volunteer. There a terms and term limits on several of these positions, so make sure to check that out in the descriptions.
