Polk County Recreation is bringing in a wood chipper to shred a pile of downed brush into mulch for the outdoor classroom at the Recreation Complex and could use a few extra pairs of hands.

Volunteers can join the work from noon to 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, at the classroom site, which is located at 235 Wolverine Trail in Mill Spring.
