Polk County Public Libraries want to help you zoom into some free outdoor fun this spring!
The library has partnered with two of Western North Carolina’s most visited attractions — WNC Nature Center and the N.C. Arboretum — to offer free admission with a Zoom Pass. You will need a Polk County Library card to enjoy this offer.
WNC Nature Center has a wide range of animals that you can watch in natural habitats, from otters to bears to the Center’s newest attraction – red pandas. Kids will also love the spider web-style play area that is in the center.
The N.C. Arboretum has so much to offer, from a wide variety of native plants and trees, to an amazing train display that is perfect for kids who love Thomas The Train. There’s also a new pond where frogs and snakes live and there are miles of hiking trails.
